Katherine Boehm - Technician, Media Resources

Katherine Boehm says her work is rooted in philosophy and play with a niche in sound and invisible interaction. She aims to stimulate thought and reframe elements of our present to better understand our relationship with each other, with the world, and with our future both near and far. In form, Katherine has combined her background in graphic design, film, and performance with nonlinear/linear narrative experiences created through sound, VR, AR, and interactive installations. As a current MFA Design and Technology candidate at Parsons, she recently showcased her project Panopticon (interactive binaural sound installation) in the StudentPoster section of IRCAM Pompidou’s 2014 Conference
