Sam Miller - Printmaking Technician

Sam Dakota is an artist, illustrator, and printmaker attempting the traditional human endeavor of converting personal experience into a generative and contemplative science. By combining strategies from printmaking, bricolage, and graphic design, his work constructs vessels and grows ecologies from objects, patterns, images, and text in order to create work that aims to promote reflection, generatively, and sustainability.

Sam Dakota received a BA in Biology from Middlebury College in 2008 and an MFA through the printmaking department at the Columbia University School of Visual Arts in 2013.
