Sol Hashemi - Technician, Photography
Sol Hashemi has held over 13 solo and collaborative exhibitions since 2008 and is represented by the James Harris Gallery in Seattle. In 2013 he was awarded the Kayla Skinner award by the Seattle Art Museum and held his first U.S. institutional solo show at the Henry Art Gallery. He has since exhibited at the Annarumma gallery in Italy and SculptureCenter in Long Island City.
Hashemi’s commercial architectural and installation photography has appeared in numerous publications including: T: The New York Times Stye Magazine, Wallpaper*, Architectural Digest, W Magazine, artnet, and Blouin Artinfo. Hashemi is also co-director of Veronica, a project space that opened in Seattle in November 2014.
Research interests as a technician include large format inkjet printing optimization and color science. Additionally, Hashemi is a Phase One Certified Professional.
