Will McHale - Director
Will strives to work with others that are passionate about what they do- to learn, engage, and communicate in ways that are relevant and meaningful. He taught Design at the University of the Arts for 11 years and ran a shop and technology lab at the same institution during that time. He was also a co-organizer of Philly Works for many years, where he used Philadelphia as a large workshop/canvas to make, play, and ask good questions. He swapped locations on the map a few years ago to focus on doing some of the same in NYC. He has been at Parsons the New School since 2016, and is thrilled with the wonderful team he is working alongside in the Making Center.
His personal design/make practice is focused on examining “quality of life” related processes with emphasis on collaboration, material streams, lightness, and local design/production relationships.
